Hello world... how ya been? It's crazy I know. Let me back track to Wednesday the 11th. I took a bus to Albania. The sights were so beautiful. The bus ride was just over like 10 hours. I got into Durres around 6pm it was just getting dark. I stopped at a bakery that had wifi to look for a place for the night. I was there for a few minutes and then the police came in. About 10 minutes later the lady said they had to close early due to the coronavirus. So i screenshot a few hotels and begin go look for them. One I couldn't find. The next hotel wouldn't let me in. Thankfully another one had popped up on my maps and I made my way there. I was able to get a room. They were nice. Thursday 3/12/2020 I woke up feeling refreshed. I went out to look for another place and for the bus station by now they were talking about shutting stuff down even more. It was nice out. I did not have any luck finding another place so I chose to stay another night.

They put a ban on movement through out the country. Trump put a ban on all travel from Europe unless your a US citizen. I spent the morning looking for a place everyone kept declining my stay. So I said fuck it I will just stay here. They are nice here. They said I was welcome back even if I left that they would remain open. However I stayed. The gentlemen talked with me and put on some music it was nice. We used translators but it was all good. Once I paid for the next three days I came and unpacked in my room. Then went to get food, and walk around some. Beautiful views. There is a lot of garbage here, nothing here surprises me I spent a lot of time research and learning about Albania and I see a lot of what I read about. It sure is beautiful here. In so many different ways. The people have been kind.

I got a great night sleep. Today I got to wash my clothes by hand, I enjoyed doing it. The housekeeper here hung them for me. She is a very sweet lady. I then left with some water for a walk. I spent 8 and a half hours taking in the city and capturing the beauty of it. Because I know when I leave I will miss it here. I walked through some neighborhoods that eventually led me to a mountain/big hill. It was absolutely stunning. It brought me to tears. My heart was so happy to see it all. Once I made it to the top I stopped and took of my shoes and basked in the sun for some Vitamin D and listen to some music while breathing in Albania and seeing her beauty in person. It was so breathtakingly beautiful. I walked all over Durres I was ganna go back to my hotel but I had decided why not just walk while it is light out. The streets are relatively empty, however many people are out walking and riding bikes. The shops are all closed it does look a little deserted. The shelves here are full. No body is in panicking mode here. Honestly the Albanians have been through so much, some are worrying more then others. I think it is only natural to. When I got back to my hotel I ate and got to video chat with my boys they are doing great. I am good.
all my love
